Scarf Trends 2015 - How To Wear Your Scarf

Each season there's always another creative way that people are styling their scarves. As most of our scarves are beautifully lofty and oversized at 180cm x 200 cm, I've listed the best ways to wear your Caravana scarf to maximise pattern and wearability. 

WORN CLASSICALLY LONG or BELTED

You can't go past the stylish way of wearing a lofty scarf long down the body. It's classically chic, and can work in all seasons and with all different scarf textures and weights. A more recent take on this style is to belt the scarf at the natural waist. Skinny belts work the best for this look. Try it over your skirt/shirt/top outfit or maxi skirt or dress. The double flowing fabric effect looks beautiful and modern.

CLASSIC STYLISH SINGLE DRAPE

A classic staple style that is the 'forever favourite' for us. Wearing your scarf this way shows off maximum print and texture, as well as being functional and warm. 

DOUBLE WRAP AND TUCK

A great way to wear your scarf in the cooler months to keep your neck warm, and I personally love this look with a singlet or tee in the warmer months to add some interest to an outfit.

 CLASSIC TIGHT SINGLE LOOP

An oldie but still a goodie. It's basically a tighter version of the more relaxed style 'classic single drape'. Just worn for a more snug fit at the neck.

END TIE AND SNOOD

Another style that can be worn two ways. Tie the end and hide it under your hair at the back of your neck and wear it like a long tube OR double it over and draped like a snood! This style is great so you can achieve the snood look but also wear your scarf the other ways too.

SHAWL - CAPE - OVER THE SHOULDER DRAPE

Some of our scarf shapes are square or oversized shawls. The best way to style these is to fold the square shape into a triangle once, then drape it over your shoulders for a shawl or cape effect. You can also drape the lengths across your chest to create some more warmth. This can also be done with our rectangle shapes, however the effect is more relaxed and unstructured.
